The Chinese Embassy in Bissau says it arranged for 400 Chinese living in Guinea-Bissau that are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to receive booster jabs free of charge last week.
The injections were given last Tuesday, according to a written statement issued by the embassy two days later.
The embassy says the latest round of administration of booster jabs to Chinese living in Guinea-Bissau was the second since November.
The embassy says recipients of the booster injections expressed gratitude, its statement quoting one as calling the jabs the best Lunar New Year gift.
Last July the embassy said all Chinese living in Guinea-Bissau had been fully inoculated with the vaccine developed by Sinopharm Group Co. Ltd of China.
