Trade between China and the Portuguese-speaking Countries hit US$119.2 billion in the first 11 months of 2013, up by 1.25 percent from a year earlier, according to data from the Chinese General Administration of Customs.

Chinese imports from Portuguese-speaking Countries were down 1.18 percent year-on-year in the first 11 months of the year, reaching US$79.62 billion. China sold goods and services to Portuguese-speaking Countries worth US$39.58 billion during the period, up by 6.79 percent from a year earlier.

Total trade value for the month of November reached US$10.13 billion, down by 3.47 percent from the previous month.

The value of China’s imports from Portuguese-speaking Countries fell by 12.97 percent month-on-month to US$6.05 billion in November, while exports to those countries reached US$4.08 billion, up by 15.19 percent from the previous month.
