On the 30th of May, the Chinese giant CGN Brazil Energy signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Brazilian company Quinto Energy aiming to implement a mega complex of wind and solar energy, in the hinterland of Bahia, focused on the production of green hydrogen in large scale.
The cooperation agreement was signed by the companies on the morning of the 30th with the presence of Governor Jerônimo Rodrigues, at Senai Cimatec, in the same ceremony where the inauguration of the Tanque Novo Aeolic Complex took place, CGN’s second largest project in Brazil, with an investment of R$ 1.15 billion.
And the partnership with Quinto, which aims to implement wind and solar farms with an installed capacity of 14GW, signals CGN’s expansion in Brazil.
