On the 29th of May, the governor of Rio Grande do Norte, Fátima Bezerra, met at the State governor’s office with Chinese investors to present the project of the Green Industry-Port, which aims to be built in Caiçara do Norte, in the interior of the state. The intention of the State government is to make a Public-Private Partnership.
At the meeting in the governor’s office, the presentation was for the Chinese state-owned company China Communications Construction Company (CCCC) and Concremat Engenharia (representative of CCCC in Brazil).
The two companies presented their portfolios in the Brazilian and world markets. The companies indicated that they will sign a term of cooperation with the RN government.
The Secretary of Economic Development of RN, Jaime Calado, said that the meeting was productive and that CCCC offered to take part in the formulation of the project.
