On the 30th of June, Hebei was the destination of the Brazilian delegation formed by 22 representatives from 18 Brazilian institutions. This time, the objective of the meeting was to sign the Hebei-Brazil Alliance, an agreement to guarantee new investments. Under the administration of the provincial government is the host institution, the Hebei Normal University (UNH), which is located in the capital Shijiazhuang.

The institution has already been a partner of the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM) since 2014, offering courses in Chinese culture and Mandarin. Now, the signed agreement enables new collaborations that expand the possibilities of Chinese investments in Brazilian soil.

In addition, a new agreement was also signed at the meeting that enables the installation of a smart class equipped with high technology for the UFSM.
