On the 14th of July, the Brazilian city of Pouso Alegre and the Chinese XCMG Group signed a protocol of intentions that expects the expansion of the company in the city.
According to the municipal administration, the new investments should increase the production capacity of the Chinese heavy machinery manufacturer and generate around 360 direct and 100 indirect jobs by 2027.
According to the city council, the document signed by Mayor Cel. Dimas (PSDB) and a representative of XCMG expects investments of about R$ 30 million, construction of a new shed, areas for stock of parts and machines, area for display of products, power plant and a new office.
