The Portuguese company, Macedos Pirotecnia, will be present at the return of the Macau International Fireworks Competition, between the 9th of September and the 7th of October, after a three-year break due to the pandemic, as announced on the 28th of August.
On the 1st of October, Macedos Pirotecnia will present the show "Supernova", said the Macau Tourism Board, at a press conference.
Macedos Pirotecnia will participate in the competition for the fifth time, having won the 12th edition in 2000, the first held after the transition of administration of Macau from Portugal to China.
In addition to Portugal, the 31st edition will feature 10 shows, each lasting 18 minutes, from companies from Australia, Austria, the Philippines, Japan, and China.
