As of March 1, António Ramos da Silva took office as the delegate of Timor-Leste to the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao, replacing his predecessor, Danilo Afonso Henriques.
With a post-graduate degree in human rights and democracy and a degree in international relations, António Ramos da Silva has held various positions since 2008, such as Media Advisor to the Prime Minister, Media Advisor to the Ministry of Public Works of the Defense Force, Media Advisor to the Minister of Public Works, Transport and Communications, Consultant in the Support Office of the Ministry of Transport and Communications, Advisor to the Ministry of National Liberation Combatants’ Affairs and Liaison Officer of Economic, Trade and Finance Affairs of the Community of CPLP, among others.
