On May 4, a delegation of the Permanent Secretariat and the Support Office of Forum Macao, led by Secretary-General Ji Xianzheng, visited the sixth “National Security Education Exhibition” at the China-Portuguese-speaking Countries Commercial and Trade Service Platform Complex.


Macao is the permanent venue of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), with the Permanent Secretariat headquartered in Macao. In this regard, the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao is subject to the laws of the People’s Republic of China that apply to the Macao SAR, as well as the laws of the Macao SAR. National security is an important support for the harmonious development of Macao society and the inheritance of multiculturalism, and it is also a strong guarantee for Forum Macao to promote economic and trade cooperation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries through Macao’s role as a service platform. In addition, this visit helps contribute to the Permanent Secretariat to better carry out various work in Macao.
