At Mobile World Congress 2025, 4gnews spoke with Tiago Flores, Country Director of Xiaomi in Portugal. The Chinese brand took the opportunity not only to unveil its latest smartphones, the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Ultra, but also to showcase two electric vehicles — the SU7 and SU7 Ultra.

In the interview, Tiago Flores said: "The results from 2024 show that the Portuguese market responded very well to the brand’s innovation. In the premium mobile segment, we grew by around 50%. Our goal is to continue developing this segment.."

"The Xiaomi SU7 is currently only available in China, and for now, our focus is on the launch and commercialization of the Xiaomi SU7 in the domestic market, as solidifying our position in China is our first step. Once we are ready, we will naturally enter international markets," he said, believing that "Xiaomi EVs will become a familiar sight on roads around the world."
