On November 16, the Brazilian Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Luciana Santos, announced the signing of five agreements with Chinese institutions that will allow Brazil to obtain advanced technologies in the areas of nuclear technology, family farming, photovoltaic industry, artificial intelligence and synchrotron light source.
The agreements refer to the field of nuclear technology applications, especially in the research and development of new radiopharmaceuticals, clinical trials, industrial transformation, localization and scaling of radiopharmaceutical production and the disposal of radioactive waste.
Luciana stressed that the scientific and technological exchange and the cooperation between the two countries will increase synergies and bring mutual benefits to the respective academic and productive sectors.
