Omoda Jaecoo invests R$200 million to start operations in Brazil

Omoda Jaecoo, two brands from the Chery group, announced an investment of R$200 million to start operations in Brazil, with sales scheduled for the first quarter of next year. Business will begin with models imported from China and sold through a network of more than fifty confirmed dealerships.


The investment will be used to structure the local office, hire employees and promote the two brands. A new investment, larger than the first, will soon be announced for the production of vehicles from both brands in the country. According to the company, location is essential to reach the target of 30 thousand Brazilian customers per year.


Omoda Jaecoo's focus in Brazil will be on the SUV segment, with six models available that will be launched globally soon.
