Chinese ambassador highlights advances in cooperation

On August 6, the Chinese ambassador, Zhang Bin, held a meeting with the Secretary of State for Administration, Finance and Heritage on August 6th in Luanda.


At this meeting, the Chinese ambassador highlighted the advances made in cooperation between the two countries in the Agricultural and Livestock sector, in addition to the recent infrastructure inaugurations, such as the Aluminum Factory, Industrial Silicon Factory and an Industrial Park. He also highlighted the importance of projects in Sports, Education, Culture and Tourism to strengthen cultural ties


The Secretary of State emphasized the importance of Chinese participation in the Angolan manufacturing industry and the strengthening of technical cooperation for the training of Angolan staff.


Cooperation between Angola and China is characterized by the regular exchange of high-level visits. Zhang Bin also stated that President João Lourenço's visit to China marked a new stage in the bilateral relationship, opening doors for closer and more diverse cooperation.
