The company Xiaomi is analyzing the possibility of establishing a factory in Brazil, aiming to expand its national operation. This information was provided by Luciano Barbosa, head of the company's operations in the country.

Currently, all Xiaomi products available in Brazil are imported. The creation of a local production unit would not only reduce logistical and tariff costs, but would also result in more competitive prices for Brazilian consumers. Barbosa revealed that this initiative is being seriously considered by the company.

In parallel with plans to open a factory, Xiaomi intends to increase its presence in Brazilian retail. By the end of 2024, the company plans to open 22 more stores, reaching a total of 40 new units.

“Our goal is to make products more accessible and visible to consumers,” said Barbosa.
