The Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation of Brazil, Luciana Santos, received on May 23rd, at the FINEP headquarters, a Chinese delegation from CIRC (China Isotope & Radiation Corporation), a subsidiary holding company of the China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) and the largest nuclear company for research and development, manufacturing, distribution and service of nuclear products in China.

On the occasion, the deputy general director of CIRC, Fan Guomin, presented the company. With three radiopharmaceutical research and manufacturing bases located in Beijing, Chengdu and Shenzhen, CIRC is one of the organizations with the widest range of isotopic products and the most complete industrial chain in the world.

Fan Guomin spoke of CIRC's interest in establishing cooperation with MCTI and Finep in the areas of R&D and manufacturing of drugs using radioisotopes, and even with the possibility of installing infrastructure in Brazil. “Our group attaches great importance to the Brazilian market and wishes to establish strong cooperation with the support of MCTI, not only in nuclear technology but in fuels, energy and others,"  he stated.
