On the morning of May 7th, the governor of Mato Grosso do Sul, Eduardo Riedel, received the vice-president of the Brazil China Forum, Steve Chang, and the representative of CCPIT (Chinese Council for the Promotion of International Trade, also known as the Chinese Chamber of International Commerce), Chen Fei.
"Our state provides a safe and reliable environment for private investment. And this is reflected in various areas, including favorable rates of development and employment, which guarantees an improvement in the quality of life of our population," explained Riedel.
The Chinese delegation presented a company that produces tractors and agricultural implements, which is interested in supplying equipment to small farmers and the family farming sector.
"The company has decided to invest in Brazil and is identifying potential states for setting up this factory. The state is attractive for this type of enterprise, as the tax incentive policy provides a very strong competitive edge compared to other states. We also had the opportunity to show the Bioceanic Route, which is relevant to the company," explained Secretary Jaime Verruck (Semadesc).
