Chinese manufacturer Honor has confirmed that it will sell cell phones in Brazil. The company has sent employees to the country to study the market and determine the national strategy. Honor's CEO, George Zhao, said that they even have plans to produce smartphones locally. The team is also in contact with the main sales channels.

The statements were made on February 26 during a press conference with journalists. Zhao indicated that studies are underway, but did not announce a specific date for Honor's arrival in Brazil.

Honor is a smartphone company based in China. It originated from Huawei, but the two companies split in November 2020. Since then, Honor has positioned itself as a manufacturer focused on the end user. It promises to integrate cloud solutions from the main providers on the market, such as Google, Meta and Microsoft.
