The draft law simplifying the process for setting up new companies in Angola will be subject to a final vote this week. The bill got the nod from the Commission of Economy and Finance of the National Assembly last week, reports Angolan news agency Angop.

The document aims to cut the administrative procedures needed to set up a new company, said legislator Virgilio Tchova.

The bill also intendeds to reduce costs for creating commercial companies, by modernising registration and notary services, added Mr Tchova.

The country’s Parliament will vote on the bill on Thursday, January 29. On the same day, legislators will also vote on the cooperative enterprises bill, according to Angop.
