The acting governor of Tocantins, Laurez Moreira, received on December 6th a delegation from the Chinese Group XGMA, the 3rd largest heavy machinery manufacturing company in the world.

“With great joy, we received this Chinese delegation, who are looking at Tocantins with very good eyes and a desire to invest," emphasized Laurez Moreira.

During the meeting, managers from the Industry and Commerce (Sics), Agriculture and Livestock (Seagro), and Mining Agency of the State of Tocantins (Ameto) departments made a detailed presentation on the economic potential of the state of Tocantins. The objective of XGMA's visit is to better understand the State and its potential for the possible implementation of a distribution center at a national level, taking advantage of the State's logistical potential.

XGMA expressed its gratitude for the invitation to visit the state of Tocantins, highlighting that the main objective is to better understand the local market and agriculture in the state.
