GreenYellow, a French multinational provider of energy transition solutions, recently concluded the acquisition of a batch of 69,498 units of heterojunction bifacial photovoltaic modules (HJT) with a power of 685 Wp and 690 Wp, from the Chinese manufacturer Risen Energy, with 210mm. The modules will be used in eight photovoltaic plants in Brazil which, together, will reach a power of 47.95 MWp.

According to the president of GreenYellow in Brazil, Marcelo Xavier, the negotiation represents the largest acquisition of equipment that the company has ever made in almost a decade of presence in the Brazilian market.

The expectation is that the acquired modules, once in operation, will be capable of producing approximately 101 GWh per year. This would be enough to provide an amount of energy comparable to that needed to avoid the emission of around 4,300 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere per year.
