The Bahian delegation in China is expanding trade relations and exchanges with the Chinese. The mayor of Amargosa, Júlio Pinheiro, signed a memorandum of understanding with Wang Yantao, vice-president of Deej World, a food company in the state of Shandong, which has the third largest economy in the country and the largest agricultural production of fruit and vegetables.

The memorandum of understanding between China and Amargosa will provide technology and technical support in livestock farming, for the genetic improvement of the herd, and in agribusiness in the region, with the aim of increasing production and job creation in the municipality. 

"We are deepening our business with the Chinese and the partnerships will bear even more commercial, relationship and educational fruit for our municipality and for Bahia," comments Pinheiro.
