Cabo Verde Minister of Education Maritza Rosabal will visit Mainland China from October 14 to 20 and Macao from October 21 to 23, with a view to increasing Sino-Cabo Verde co-operation in education, Inforpress reports.

The Cabo Verde news agency says Ms Rosabal will meet Cabo Verde students studying in Mainland China on scholarships.

The report quotes Ms Rosabal as saying she hopes to come up with new forms Sino-Cabo Verde co-operation.

She said maritime co-operation was on the agenda for her visit because China had great expertise in maritime matters.

What she calls a “sea campus” may be established in Mindelo, Inforpress quotes the minister as saying.
