China has given the Mozambican Interior Ministry US$2.5 million worth of supplies for the African country’s police forces, O País reports.
The Mozambican newspaper says the supplies include material for uniforms, and computers and peripherals.
The report says the Chinese gift is the second of its kind in recent months.
It was turned over to Mozambican Interior Minister Basílio Monteiro by Chinese Ambassador to Mozambique Su Jian.
The kit will help the police do their duty, O País quotes Mr Monteiro as saying.
