Trade between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries topped US$10.442 billion in the first month of 2018, an increase of 27.05 percent from a year earlier and a 6.20-percent increase from the previous month, according to data from China Customs.
In January, the value of China’s imports from Portuguese-speaking Countries reached US$7.215 billion, up by 37.09 percent year-on-year and 15.40 percent sequentially.
China sold goods worth US$3.227 billion to Portuguese-speaking Countries, a rise of 9.17 percent from the prior-year period and a 9.86-percent decrease from the previous month.
