Buyin.pt of Portugal, which runs the BuyinPortugal business-to-business e-commerce website, has announced an exclusive agreement with the Chinese arm of Super Bock Group SGPS SA to export the Portuguese brewer’s beer to northern China.

Buyin.pt issued a written announcement saying Chinese state-owned company Tianjin Dongjiang Import Commodity Direct Service Co. Ltd will import the beer through the Dongjiang Free Trade Port.

The announcement says Buyin.pt and the port already have a deal covering the import into China of goods made in lusophone countries that are traded on BuyinPortugal.

The port has established trade ties with more than 500 ports in over 180 countries and regions whereas Tianjin Dongjiang already has approval for 30 direct sales centres of import commodities, giving it access to a market of 500 million consumers, the Buyin.pt announcement says.
