Some 25 Chinese specialists in the fields of agriculture, animal husbandry, energy and healthcare have left São Tomé and Príncipe after completing their various one-year missions there, STP-Press reports.
The state-run news agency quotes Chinese Ambassador to São-Tomé and Príncipe Wang Wei as saying the advisers introduced the country to new agricultural and pastoral techniques, and repaired the generators at the Santo Amaro power station.
Another group of Chinese specialists will soon replace the advisers that have just left, STP-Press quotes São Tomé and Príncipe Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Teodorico Campos as saying.
