The number of new companies formed in Brazil was 5.1 percent greater in the third quarter than in the second, Reuters reports, without saying how many companies were formed.
The news agency, citing the results of a survey by Boa Vista SCPC, says the number of start-ups in the first nine months of this year was 8.2 percent greater than in the equivalent period last year – but again fails to say how many start-ups there were.
Over half of the new companies are in the service sector, Reuters says.
