The Information Society Operational Nucleus of Cape Verde and Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd. have agreed to co-operate in information communication technology, A Semana reports.
The Cape Verdean newspaper, did not cite a source, but reported the agreement would involve digital delivery of education, medical care, social security and identification documents, and the application of technology in land management.
Meanwhile, Inforpress quotes Cape Verdean Prime Minister Ulisses Correia e Silva as saying the Mainland is supporting the establishment of a special economic zone on the island of São Vicente. He said it was the “best of times” for Sino-Cape Verdean co-operation.
