The Angolan government has arranged finance for two projects with Chinese financial institutions, news agency Angop reported.

The Angolan government signed an agreement with the Export-Import Bank of China to finance the National Plan of Geology, worth US$76.8-million.

The second deal, with the Development Bank of China, will help the development of a training centre and a database to be administered by Angola’s Minister of Energy and Water. The project is forecast to cost US$41.5 million.

Angolan Finance Minister Archer Mangueira led the delegation that included officials from five ministerial departments and the Development Bank of Angola.
