Trade between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries topped US$13.363billion in the first month of 2019, an increase of 27.97 percent from a year earlier and an 8.0-percent increase from the previous month, according to data from China Customs.
In January, the value of China’s imports from Portuguese-speaking Countries reached US$9.657 billion, up by 33.84 percent year-on-year and 9.29 percent sequentially.
China sold goods worth US$3.697 billion to Portuguese-speaking Countries, a rise of 14.85 percent from the prior-year period and a 4.8-percent decrease from the previous month.
