The Chinese company China Railway International Group will supply equipment for the workshops of the three publicly-owned Angolan railway companies in a deal worth US$46.1 million, Lusa reports.

The Portuguese news agency quotes a written order given by Angola’s President José Eduardo dos Santos, dated September 5, confirming the deal.

The three publicly owned railway companies are Empresa do Caminho de Ferro de Benguela EP, Empresa do Caminho de Ferro de Luanda EP and Empresa do Caminho de Ferro de Moçâmedes EP.
