A Macau firm will this year set up in China’s Guangdong province an exhibition centre for wines and food from Portuguese-speaking Countries, local newspaper Macao Daily News reported on Saturday.

Vang Kei Hong, a business with interests in product distribution, trading and retail supermarkets, has established similar centres in Shanghai; in Changsha, in China’s Hunan province; and Haining, in Zhejiang province, said Ip Sio Man, described as “person-in-charge” of the company.

The plan to establish a new exhibition centre in Guangdong was in line with the strategies of the Macao Government and the Central Government, stated Mr Ip.

Vang Kei Hong has a subsidiary specialising in the trading of Portuguese wines, the newspaper said.
