The Mayor of Vila Nova de Cerveira, Rui Teixeira, participated on the 31st of July at the Portuguese Consulate of Macau in a meeting with the President of Tourism of Porto and North of Portugal, Luís Pedro Martins and a Chinese delegation led by Liu Ya Huang, President of Macau Multinational Holding Group and Government Delegate of the People's Republic of China. The meeting served to present the North Region as an integrated package of investment opportunities in different areas.

In a second moment, the Mayor of Vila Nova de Cerveira, Rui Teixeira, accompanied by the President of Tourism of Porto and North of Portugal, met with the Delegate of AICEP in Macau, Bernardo Almeida Pinho, making known the vigorous industrial dynamics of the municipality of Cerveira and aiming to establish some partnerships in this area, with clusters of advanced industry in China.
