China is willing to strengthen co-operation and exchange with Angola in military matters, said Cui Amin, the Chinese Ambassador to the African nation.
Mr Cui Aimin made his remarks on Tuesday in Luanda after a meeting with the Defence Minister of Angola, João Gonçalves Lourenço, local newspaper Jornal de Angola reported.
Mr Cui said Angola and China had maintained regular military ties, co-operating in areas including staff training and equipment supply. Deepening military co-operation would “benefit the two countries,” he added.
Angolan news agency Angop also reported that the Ambassador hailed existing Sino-Angolan relations, especially in civil construction, agriculture and personnel training.
