The Federal Council of the OAB is hosting the Brazil-China Legal Forum in Brasilia on the 24th of May. The event brings together authorities and experts to discuss strategic issues in the bilateral relationship and celebrate the 19th anniversary of the Sino-Brazilian High Level Commission for Consultation and Cooperation (Cosban).
At the opening ceremony of the event, the Federal Council represented by the vice-president, Rafael Horn, signed the Brazil-China Charter on Legal Cooperation for Sustainable Economic Development. The document aims to promote legal exchange and the improvement of legal security in international and Sino-Brazilian relations.
Brazil’s Vice President and Minister of Development, Industry, Commerce and Services, Geraldo Alckmin, participated with a video message. “Trade between Brazil and China moves US$ 150 billion, and we have a vision of broad cooperation in areas such as science, technology, infrastructure, and health,” said Alckmin.
