CCR MSVia started tests with the Song DM i vehicle from the Chinese automaker BYD, a utility vehicle that has a hybrid engine combining battery and combustion.

Among the main factors responsible for choosing the Chinese model is the CO² emission reduction rate, which has a potential of up to 70% when considering the vehicles currently used.

Another fundamental point in choosing the model was autonomy. According to estimates by CCR MSVia, the vehicle will be able to travel more than 1,000 kilometers without the need for refueling, by combining the electric battery and the combustion engine.

“We continue to carry out tests on the vehicle in various situations on the highway. In addition to reducing gas emissions and saving fuel, we need to make sure that the quality of service does not interfere,” explains the Dealership’s operations manager, Arrison Szesz.
