The director of the Institute for Supervision and Administration of the Market of Hunan, Qian Junjun, met with the Ambassador of Cape Verde to China, Arlindo do Rosário, who was in Changsha to participate in the 3rd edition of the China-Africa Economic and Commercial Expo (CAETE), to have a deep conversation. The meeting was also attended by the Counselor of the Embassy of Cape Verde in China, Francisco Mendes, and the Delegate of Cape Verde to the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum of Macao, Nuno Furtado.
Qian Junjun highlights that in order to boost trade and economic cooperation between Hunan and African companies, the Institute for Supervision and Administration of Hunan Market will take the initiative to implement new ideas and initiatives, helping Hunan companies “Go Global”.
In turn, Arlindo do Rosário underlined Cape Verde’s attention to building renewable energy, information technology and the green economy and the intention to promote this cooperation in Hunan, taking advantage of this province’s enormous resources to push economic development on both sides. He hopes that more Hunan companies will participate in the “Special Maritime Economic Zone in São Vicente” project, which Cape Verde attaches the utmost importance to, in order to build a blue economy cooperation mechanism.
