Chinese company invests US$200 million in aluminium factory in Bengo province

An investment of about US$200 million may soon be applied in the province of Bengo, Angola, for the construction of an aluminum factory. For this purpose, an agreement was signed between Angolan company Sino Ord Park Industrial and China’s O.T.International, witnessed by the governor of Bengo, Maria Antónia Nelumba, at the 3rd China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo, which was held in Hunan province.

A statement from the Bengo Provincial Government said that in that Chinese province, the governor met with the management of Hunan Construction Investment Group, a group that builds roads, bridges, ports and homes.

In Hunan, the Angolan delegation is establishing a number of contacts to attract investments to Bengo province. The China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo is an event that aims to stimulate and develop economic partnerships in various branches of activity between China and Africa.
