The deputy mayor of Limeira, Erika Tank, the secretary of Development, Tourism and Innovation, Tito Almirall and the councilor Lemão da Jehovah Rafá were received on the 5th of July by the consul general of the People’s Republic of China in São Paulo, Chen Peijie. During the official visit, the delegation invited Chen Peijie to participate in the event “Meeting with China”, which will be held in Limeira on the 5th and 6th of August. Organized by the Limeira Brazil-China Cultural Association, the initiative includes meetings with businessmen from the region, cultural activities and a visit to City Hall.
Tito Almirall, in turn, highlighted the importance of the meeting with the consul general as an opportunity to present the economic potential of Limeira. He highlighted the qualification of the workforce in the city, mainly due to the presence of technicians and professionals able to work on possible industrial investments.
“We discussed the coming of the consul general to Limeira, an occasion in which we will be able to show the attractions of our region to receive future commercial investments”, stated Lemão da Jehovah Rafá.
