China and Angola could strengthen cooperation in infrastructure and agriculture, said Chinese Vice Premier Wang Yang.
The Chinese official met with an Angolan delegation led by Edeltrudes Costa, Minister of State and and Chief of Staff of the Angolan Government, in Beijing on Monday, Chinese state-run news agency Xinhua reported.
“[The two nations] should strengthen the beneficial cooperation in areas of investment, infrastructure, agriculture and finance, further enriching the strategic partnership of both sides,” Mr Wang was quoted saying.
On Sunday, the Angolan delegation and China’s Minister of Commerce Gao Hucheng also held a meeting of the Guidance Commission for Economic and Commercial Cooperation between Angola and China, Angolan news agency Angop reported.
Apart from infrastructure and agriculture, Mr Costa said the two nations should also deepen ties in human resources training.
