On March 27, under the presidency of Mr Ji Xianzheng, the Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao, the delegations of the participating countries of Forum Macao had a meeting with representatives of the China-Portuguese-speaking Countries Co-operation and Development Fund (CPD Fund) in Macao, adopting an online + offline hybrid mode.

On March 23, the Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), Ji Xianzheng received a delegation headed by the President of the China Foreign Trade Centre, Chu Shijia.

On March 22, the Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao, Ji Xianzheng received a delegation headed by the Director General of the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, Zhang Jingsong.

On March 14, the Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), Ji Xianzheng, together with Deputy Secretary-Generals, Paulo Jorge do Espírito Santo and Casimiro de Jesus Pinto, paid a courtesy visit to the new Consul-General of Portugal in Macao and Hong Kong, Alexandre Leitão.

On March 13, the Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), Ji Xianzheng received a delegation headed by the chairman of the Macau Association of Banks, Ip Sio Kai.

A new Representative to the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao from Portugal, Ms Márcia Cordeiro Guerreiro, took up office on March 15. Ms. Márcia Cordeiro Guerreiro replaced Ms. Maria João Bonifácio, who had completed her term in office.

On 10 March, a delegation of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), led by Secretary-General Ji Xianzheng, went to Hengqin and attended the opening ceremony of 2023 “Let’s Hang Out – Lusophone and Macao Products Bazaar”. They also visited local enterprises in the In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin.

From February 19 to 25, a delegation of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), led by Secretary-General Ji Xianzheng, visited Beijing and met with the ambassadors or representatives to China of Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Equatorial Guinea, Mozambique, Portugal, São Tomé and Príncipe, and Timor-Leste.

February 21, a delegation of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), led by Secretary-General Mr Ji Xianzheng, visited Mr Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT). During the visit,

February 20, a delegation of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), led by the Secretary-General, Mr Ji Xianzheng, visited the Department of Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao Affairs of the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China (MOFCOM).

February 15, the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) organized a Spring Festival media reception at the Mandarin Oriental, Macau, to exchange insights with responsible persons of the English-, Portuguese- and Chinese-language media of Macao. Mr Ji Xianzheng, the Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao, attended the event and delivered a speech.
