The Guangdong CICB mission to China concluded with great success. On 6 March, the Foshan and CICB Seminar and Business Roundtable took place, an initiative led by ApexBrasil's Asia-Pacific office, jointly with the Foshan City Furniture Industry Association and the Centre for Brazilian Tanning (CICB). The main aim was to strengthen co-operation between the Foshan furniture industry and the Brazilian leather industry, boosting the development of the global furniture industry chain.

CICB, represented by Mr Rogeiro Cunha and Ms Leticia Luft, led a delegation of seven Brazilian leather companies. An important milestone was the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the Foshan Furniture Association and the CICB, aimed at increasing imports of Brazilian leather and consolidating its high-quality image in the southern Chinese market.
