The palm scanning service will arrive in Brazil. The new technology comes from InoveBanco, a Brazilian fintech based in Campinas (SP), and should be launched later this year.
This is the result of the Brazilian company's agreement with Tencent Cloud, which allows the introduction of a digital ecosystem in the country that encompasses thousands of services and applications on a single platform.
“The device reads different fingerprints using sensors and cameras with infrared rays, so user identification occurs in a matter of seconds,” says Patrick Burnett, CEO of InoveBanco.
Currently, the most advanced biometrics resource in the country is facial recognition, but Burnett stated that the palm scan offers even more security.
