2023 is of great importance in the field of cooperation and exchange between China and the Portuguese-speaking countries. It is the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and the Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), hereinafter referred to as "Forum Macao", and the 15th edition of the Cultural Week of China and the Portuguese-speaking Countries. The memories and experiences of this journey deserve to be remembered so that they are even more vivid, and it is therefore very timely to commemorate this milestone. To commemorate this historical milestone, we are holding this Retrospective Exhibition of the 20th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Forum for Economic and Trade Cooperation between China and the Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao). Through a photographic exhibition devoted to the specific events of Forum Macao to date, we hope to take a quick look back at the key moments in the developments and results achieved within the framework of Forum Macao, with a focus on exchange and cooperation between China and the Portuguese-speaking countries over the past two decades. In this way, Forum Macao is promoted and Macao’s role as the service platform for Commercial Cooperation between China and the Portuguese-speaking Countries is enhanced, in favor of common development and cooperation between Mainland China, the Portuguese-speaking Countries and Macao.
The exhibition consists of six areas: the Area of Review of the Forum Macao + Introduction of Member Countries, the Interactive Area, the Video Display Area, the Music Appreciation Area, the Cooking Area, and the Arts and Culture Area. Individuals and groups are welcome to visit the exhibition; groups can book a guided tour (in Chinese or Portuguese), which lasts about half an hour and is limited to 25 people per group.
