In November 2024, the Chinese premium program channel VOD Hi+ was officially launched online, jointly by Box Brazil Media Group and China International Television Corporation.
Brazil has been cooperating with the Chinese series for three years. In 2022, Brazilian platform CB MÍDIA cooperated with China International Television Corporation to open the first comprehensive zone, China Zone, which released more than 1,000 episodes of TV series, documentaries, cartoons, night parties and other programs, all in Portuguese (Brazilian). The broadcast covered all of Latin America and Portugal, with a population of 600 million.
In the future, China and Brazil will continue to work together to actively explore in-depth cooperation models, from traditional television to new media, expanding the broadcast of jointly created programs and focusing on areas of common interest such as gastronomy and cultural tourism.
