Handover ceremony of Chinese-supported forensic autopsy laboratory to Guinea-Bissau held

On December 27, the Ambassador of China to Guimea Bissau, Mr. Yang Renhuo, participated in the forensic autopsy laboratory handover ceremony supported by China to Guinea Bissau. The Minister of Justice and Human Rights of Guinea Bissau, Mrs. Maria do Céu Silva Monteiro, the Secretary of State of Hospital Management, Mrs. Maimuna Baldé and other guests were present.


Ambassador Yang said that China’s first forensic autopsy laboratory, the result of China’s construction of assistance to Guinea Bissau, will help Guinea Bissau to improve its judicial research capabilities and maintain the peace and stability of society.


The Minister sincerely thanked the Chinese side for their generous assistance and considered that the laboratory would help the judicial departments and the police of Guinea-Bissau to improve their ability to perform their roles, effectively combat criminal activities and maintain social security.


After the interventions, the Ambassador and the Minister inaugurated and cut the ribbon together to the laboratory and visited the laboratory equipment.
