On December 9, the Chinese embassy delivered more than 5,000 food packages to the São Tomé and Príncipe’s Ministry of Labor and Solidarity, donated for the most vulnerable within the scope of the country's food security policy.
In the speech, the Chinese ambassador, Xu YingZhen, said that the Chinese side is willing to continue offering support to the São Tomé and Príncipe within Chinese reach, contributing to the economic and social development of São Tomé and Príncipe.
“The Chinese embassy has also supported some small and beautiful projects in this African country, but they meet local needs well, such as the rehabilitation of the library, the school, the clinic and the park,” said the Chinese diplomat.
