The Chinese automaker GWM International has announced that it has joined the Mover program, a commitment that involves investing R$10 billion by 2030 in the production of electric and hybrid vehicles in Brazil.

The factory will be set up in Iracemápolis, in the interior of São Paulo, and is scheduled to be completed in September 2025. The project will generate 700 direct jobs in the region, as well as having a positive impact on the national automotive parts supply chain.

The Mover program seeks to attract investments in technology and sustainability, in line with the global commitment to reduce carbon emissions. The arrival of Chinese automaker GWM in Brazil strengthens the sustainable vehicle sector and consolidates the country as a strategic hub for the production of hybrid and electric cars.
