Two Chinese cell phone manufacturers, Honor and Oppo, are finalizing the details of their plans to advance in the Brazilian market. NeoFeed learned from people familiar with the strategies.
Honor is creating its structure to begin operating in Brazil. The company has already hired ten people. The intention is to start importing the devices in April.
Honor operates from basic to premium smartphones and its product line includes tablets, notebooks and wearables. At this first moment in Brazil, the focus will be on smartphones.
In Brazil, Oppo is setting up a network of distributors. The Chinese company is bringing Chinese distribution partners to Brazil, who are partnering with local companies to distribute the devices.
Oppo's idea is to have a large distribution network instead of an exclusive partner, as would be normal. The plan is also to import the devices, just like Honor.
