Chinese Ambassador to Angola Gong Tao has prompted Chinese enterprises to put their money into farming, fishing and process manufacturing in Angola as the country tries to diversify its economy, Expansão reports.

The Angolan newspaper quotes Mr Gong as saying in an interview that Chinese enterprises could help train Angolans for various occupations, so increasing Sino-Angolan economic engagement.

Mr Gong stressed the importance of efforts to improve the environment for doing business in Angola and so attract more investment there.

China can contribute to Angolan development by increasing Sino-Angolan co-operation, Expansão quotes the Ambassador as saying.
